Sir Tony Blair was wrong to suggest Sir Keir Starmer should have joined the first US-Israeli strikes on Iran, a senior minister has said.
Housing Secretary Steve Reed hit back at the former prime minister Tony Blair after he criticised the government’s response to the crisis.
Reed defended Keir Starmer after the Prime Minister blocked Washington from launching bombing raids on Iran from British bases — including Diego Garcia in the Chagos Islands — a move that reportedly angered the White House.
Speaking with International Editor Isabel Oakeshott, Talk's Peter Cardwell says: “Tony Blair will always be remembered for Iraq!"
