Описание: Howdy Folks, Welcome to Maverick Workshop. I am trying out a new feature in YouTube that enables both horizontal and vertical streaming. The month of February is a big one for us. Couple family birthdays, California Pen Show, New Model of DP Pen and World of Warcraft (early access)...Yeah I'm a nerd.

Chatting and turning, please feel free to introduce yourself and say hey; that'd really make my day.

A glorious day full of opportunity...unless you are me, then you are getting ready for a whirlwind of shows and working and networking etc...SOOO... It depends on who you are I reckon. I love being out here in a brisk garage and refining skills. We need to also get ahead to carve out some extra time for fountain pens and other show prep stuff. In an effort to refine my processes of production...you gotta try new sequences even though there is a way that already works. Also, even if it is a dud idea...might still be worth giving it a shot. A variety of handles can be made and if you were interested in turning pens, this is a good place to be.


If you are a new turner it can be overwhelming to know where to start. I am working on a few projects to help simplify that but in the meantime; if you have a specific question feel free to ask. Also, for specific projects I've done I would like to offer my knowledge; if that sounds like something you would like and would like some guidance from me here is a sheet for it in my linktree.

I Love turning!!! AND the kicker is that people enjoy what I turn on the lathe. A BIG thank you to all that help me make it happen (especially those that hang out with me on streams). I would not be where I am without you (at least with my sanity)...Who says that a hobby can't be a business? It is most certainly NOT for everyone!!! I do what I gotta go because I gotta do it. I mostly drill on my Metal lathe mostly from LMS and shape/finish on my Jet 12-21 VS wood lathe. EasyWood carbide tools are primarily the hand tools that are used because most of what I turn is resin.
