Anthony Edwards stays low to the ground in the isolation at the top of the key and gets into a right-to-left behind-the-back dribble while floating left and hanging the ball wide outside his left hip. As the ball is floating he immediately counters with a left-to-right between-the-legs, takes a hard dribble like he is going to go middle, and gets into a cross-step between the legs. After this move he shifts gears, accelerating downhill towards his left, and uses his off hand to swipe the defender’s hands away from his body. Once he gets to the elbow area, he sees the help defender in the gap stunt for the ball, so Edwards does a low push-out dribble under the help defender’s reaching arms, making it impossible for him to steal the ball. Now, as soon as he regains control of the ball with his left, he keeps the ball away from the trailing defender by keeping it in his left hand only and does a high scoop layup off the glass over the rotating shot blocker in the paint.
