South Border gained popularity when they launched their first self-titled album in 1996. Kahit Kailan was one of the tracks in the album and quickly hit the radio airwaves. And it was epic that various radio stations named it Song Of The Year.

A lot of names have been part of the band. But you know what they say. People come and go. But Jay has always been the band’s chief songwriter, arranger, producer, musical director and the lead creative force. He keeps the band together.
