This is a step-by-step how-to video of replacing the existing stick shift knob on a 2016 Jeep Renegade with an aftermarket one.
Quick note, this process is also applicable to Fiat 500s and Dodge Darts.

After this video I decided to take the locking screw out and use the longer of the two that came with the knob. I also added some blue thread locker (loctite) to make sure the connection was secure.
