Not Quite Bernadette was an emo/melodic hardcore band from Arizona that was active from around 2002 to 2005, releasing a single EP and appearing on a few compilations before disbanding. In 2013, one of the members went on to upload the band's (nearly) complete catalog on Soundcloud ( / notquitebernadette ), as well as a selection of unfinished demos from NQB's final year. That said, there is a single song by them that I have been unable to find: 'The Right to a Life Worth Living'. This track (and live performance) appeared on a 2004 DVD by Red Letter Media (yes that Red Letter Media) called Adventures in Rock. I could not find the DVD online, but I did find a physical copy for sale so I'm waiting on that at the moment (which I will be ripping and uploading upon arrival).

Artist History (taken from mp3.com): "Formed in the spring of 2002, Not Quite Bernadette is the collaboration of five friends, with a shared passion for music, coming together to create and perform. Through their art they display original compositions that vary from song to song. With complex breakdowns, heavy melodies, and choruses that stick in your mind days later, each song ranges from soft and lulling to hard and fast complimented by soothing, on-key vocals that can hit the highest of high notes but still pack a gut-wrenching scream. The personal involvement of what they concieve is shown through energetic performances where each instrument becomes more than an outlet for sound and is utilized as a part of the body. No matter what your personal taste in music is, an entertaining performance is gauranteed and the talent is prevalent. Not Quite Bernadette in it's most basic element is, and always will be, five guys doing what they love the most, and having one hell of a time doing it."
