Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob, here from etrailer.com. Today, where to meet taking a look at the Aries round Nerf bars on our 2019 Chevrolet, Colorado. Our Nerf bars are going to serve two purposes. They're going to have a functional purpose to help us get in or out of our truck, especially with people that may have bad knees that can't lift their leg that high. It's going to give you a step a little bit lower than the actual threshold of the truck to help you get in and help you on the way out.

But they're also going to have a style purpose to them. They're going to allow us to make our truck our own and really have our own sense of style to it. Our Aries Nerf bars are going to come in two different variations. Here, we have the black powder coated steel, but they're also available in stainless steel with a mirror finish on them.So really it's just up to you which one you like the most. Here on a black truck going with a black theme and just keeping everything black, it looks really nice.

But if your truck has maybe Chrome wheels on it, or Polish aluminum wheels, the stainless steel would really compliment those as well. You can see when you're trying to get into your truck, it's not extremely high, but that's pretty high to lift your leg and get into the truck. But having this step here is going to make it much easier and safer for you to get in your truck, even in wet weather, because the pads here are going to have nice tread on them, so we're not going to have to worry about slipping. The pads here are going to be the entire width of the step. So they're going to be three inches wide and they're going to be made out of a polypropylene.So we don't have to worry about them breaking down over time, because either the sun rays or the elements getting to them.

Now, these are cab length bars. So they're going to run the length of the cab. The nice thing is, is that they are going to provide you a step, even in the back for those passengers. I know I have kids, they get in the back of my truck and they're always complaining about how hard it is to get in, and there really just ended up jumping in. So the steps are going to make it a lot easier and safer for them to get into it as well.

Another thing that a lot of people don't think about, having Nerf bars on your truck will make it a lot easier to clean that snow off the top of it if you live somewhere where there's a lot of snow, or if you're just out washing your truck. I know I can't reach the center of the top of the roof, but if I step on the Nerf bars, it makes it a lot easier.I can reach most of the roof that way. I don't have to worry about stepping onto the inside and trying to balance holding onto the door. Now the steps are going to come with everything you need to get them installed. You'll get all the hardware, brackets and everything necessary. Now these are some of the easiest steps that I've installed. Honestly, there's no special tools required and it's completely something you can do in your garage, or even in your driveway. Just to make sure you have the confidence to do it yourself, let's go ahead and walk through putting one of the steps on together. To start our installation, we want to grab three of our brackets. They're all going to be exactly the same. So it's not size specific or position specific. We're just going to have six of these and we want to start on the driver's side.So we'll grab three, and then we want to move underneath our Colorado and we're going to be paying attention to the inside, right underneath this pinch weld here. We need to move to the inside here. So at the very back the body, you're going to find several holes and a few plugs in there. We need to remove these rubber or plastic type plugs that are next to the small holes. Now you may be able to grab it with your finger and pull them out. If not, we can grab a flat blade screwdriver or a trim panel tool and pop those out.Now we want to grab the clips that are in our kit. The way these are going to work is these are going to slide ove
