Daluyong is one of the 2 songs from "Songs from Yolanda", a tribute to the Yolanda Survivors in the Philippines. It talks about the calm before the storm the storm, and the aftermath. It may be taken as a lamentation, a dirge for those who perished; yet also a celebration of the Filipino spirit: unshakable, stronger than the strongest storm.

habang payapa ang paghinga ng mga laot,
Sa bawat pagsilay ng sinaunang apoy
na hindi nauupos.

Dambuhala – hilakbot – delubyo – ang sumaklot,
Dumadagundong – nang humagunot – umaalimpuyo
Ang – nananalantang ragasa – dagsa ng daluyong.
