Relative strength is a measure of how strong or weak something is compared to something else. In trading, it shows how well a stock or an instrument is doing compared to the overall market. If something has high relative strength or is outperforming, it's doing better than the market. If it has low relative strength or is underperforming, it's doing worse. Traders use relative strength to find assets that might perform well in the future.
