It also covers some of the natural history of this controversial freshwater species. These fish are easy to breed and feed in a small planted aquarium. They are perfect for a nano tank. They also make a great companion for Cherry Shrimp in a heavily planted tank. They are a very hardy and prolific freshwater fish.
Optimum Temp: 24–27°C (75-81°F).
PH.: they are very adaptable, but prefer a higher PH.
A planted tank will closely mimic their natural habitat.
