This latest footage show the progress being made on the construction of a new storm drain in Scunthorpe.
The attenuation tank is being built off Brigg Road in Scunthorpe, it will accompany a second larger 25m diameter tank being built for Severn Trent Water on land off Lakeside Parkway and Dunlin Drive.
At present, the existing combined sewer system that serves the area is becoming inundated during storm events. The new attenuation tank is being built as a series of interventions by Severn Trent Water in the Scunthorpe area to increase storage capacity within the combined sewer network, therefore reducing the frequency of spills into nearby water courses.
