In this video lecture, phase shift circuits are discussed. Specifically, the input–output relationships of all-pass phase-lag and all-pass phase-lead circuits are derived to show that the output magnitude remains equal to the input magnitude at all frequencies; however, the output phase either lags or leads the input phase depending on the corresponding circuit.
A few examples are provided to reinforce the concepts of these two circuits.
