A Turkish Man Invited Us in for Çay 🇹🇷

Описание: We continued our walk from Samsun towards Terme along the Black Sea coast of Türkiye… but after a very long day on the road we still had no idea where we were going to sleep.

In the last episode the Turkish Jandarma warned us not to camp where we had set up. Bears, wolves, and landslides were apparently common in the area.

Luke’s foot was hurting, we were exhausted, and we were starting to run out of options.

Then something completely unexpected happened.

While walking through a small village in rural Türkiye, a local man approached us and invited us into his home for çay. What happened next became one of the most special moments of our trip.

This vlog is a reminder that sometimes the best parts of travelling aren’t the places you visit… but the people you meet along the way.
