Arcade Run #15 – Lord Zedd

To think that these guys would bring a character like him into Battle for the Grid, it's blasphemy. It's insane, it's outright crazy.

This is Lord Zedd, Emperor of Evil and Rita's boss. First making his appearance in Season 2 of the original Power Rangers, Zedd took over after Rita failed to defeat the Power Rangers on a constant basis. Unlike Rita, Zedd didn't take failure lightly. He was smarter in terms of his plans not to mention scarier. In fact he was so scary that he had to be toned down due to complaints from parents. He was scary yes but he didn't scare me when I was a kid. He was exciting to see what he had up his sleeves. Zedd has a plan, a goal to take over the Earth and he used whatever he could to make sure of it.

As far as his gameplay goes, holy crap this guy is awesome. Zedd is fast, deadly and has a lot of attacks that can deliver the pain. If chained properly, you can drain half of his opponent's health. Also his Level 1 super is best useful as an ender. The Level 2 only works if a putty touches the opponent. When that happens, boom. He brings down the pain courtesy of his putty mooks.

That's nuts. I enjoy Zedd and he is that good. Act 3 of the Story Mode will be arriving after this.
