🐦 Species Focus: Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica)
Barn Swallows are graceful aerial insectivores recognized by their forked tails and rusty throats. They migrate vast distances each year, breeding in open structures such as houses and barns. Their mud-built nests support multiple generations, with both parents sharing feeding duties.
