In this video, I demonstrate the Order Execution Engine I built as part of a backend assignment.
The system accepts an order via a REST API, processes it asynchronously using a queue, routes the order to the best available DEX based on price, and streams real-time status updates to the client over WebSockets.
What’s covered in this demo:
Order submission via API
Queue-based execution flow
DEX routing logic (Raydium vs Meteora – mock implementation)
Real-time WebSocket status updates (pending → routing → confirmed)
Error handling and retries
Database persistence of final execution details
The project focuses on clean architecture, reliability, and real-time backend communication, rather than blockchain-specific complexity.
