Loch Doon Camping Area - Loch Ness Monster!

Описание: If you are heading to Scotland for a wee tour, you can stop off at the beautiful Loch Doon for a night or 2. Here's a walk around the caravan/tourer park next to the loch.

Here I spend some time wandering around the Caravan & Camping Park at Loch Doon, showing the area in a fair amount of detail. Also a drive back to the main road from Loch Doon, with some interesting stories from the area. Is there a monster in the Loch? Why did a Spitfire crash into the Loch? Why did a Hurricane crash into the hills around the loch? Why did the Castle have to be moved from the middle of the loch and be rebuilt at the edge of the loch? Is there something strange going on around Loch Doon? Do these abnormal happenings have anything to do with 'Donnie', the Loch Doon Monster? Maybe you should come for a few days and investigate for yourself!
