At the Ichikawa Zoological and Botanical Gardens in Japan, a baby monkey named Punch was born on July 26, 2025. His start in life wasn’t easy — he was abandoned and had to be lovingly raised by the zoo’s caretakers.
But even in the hardest beginnings, the heart finds comfort. 🤍
When Punch was introduced back into the enclosure in January, he found his best friend: a small orangutan plush toy. 🧡 Since then, he refuses to let it go. He sleeps with it, carries it everywhere, and holds it tightly whenever he feels unsure.
