A blizzard emergency shuts down New York City. Central Park stays open.
We descend from Central Park South into a snow-covered world where ducks and geese hold their ground around a small opening in the frozen Pond, a golden retriever surveys the scene with quiet authority, children build snowmen, and pigeons claim every available shoulder and park bench.
Snowflakes move toward the camera like stars, pulled sideways by the wind.
The Gapstow Bridge carries the weight of the snow. A majestic pine did not survive the storm. The city skyline watches from above.
This is Central Park during a New York City blizzard. Hushed, alive, and entirely itself.
