Couple's love captures millions of hearts after proposal goes viral

Описание: A couple's love is capturing the hearts of millions across the country after their proposal went viral on social media.

Kimya Jackson and Nate Gamble have been together for almost six years since they met at Claflin University in Orangeburg.

The two met at the university while auditioning for a post dance company. Everyone liked their chemistry and dance technique, and Jackson says the two ended up really clicking.

But when Gamble started being mean to Jackson, she began to worry.

"When we first met in the dance company, he was mean for no reason, and I was like I don’t know you why are you being mean to me? Then I was thinking in my head, I think he’s trying to flirt with me."

Soon after, the two started dating and after six years, Gamble figured it was time to pop the question.

Jackson thought he would propose around the holidays, maybe Christmas or New Year's Eve, which is also her birthday.

But time passed, and the two still weren't engaged.

"I was just telling everyone it’s just going to happen," Jackson said. "I don’t know when, but it’s going to happen."

Then, on their trip to Las Vegas on January 9, Gamble got down on one knee.

"We kind of were just going in the moment and the cameraman was actually leading the way." Gamble said. "He was like I got it I got just relax, and that’s when he was setting her up for those pictures and was like 'just trust me.'"

The couple wanted the video to be picked up on a wedding page, but after the video went viral on TikTok, their love story took off.

"When I say between hours and the next day — It was crazy," Jackson said. "Well we are so humbled about everything so we don’t really know what the whole outcome is going to be, but they are like hey, if you want to visit here, we would love to come back."

The couple plans to get married in spring of 2022.
