An introduction to the portable parts counting scale

It is supplied with an internal rechargeable battery and an AC/DC mains power charger.

The platform is stainless steel measuring 280 by 190mm and has adjustable feet with a level bubble.

There a large 3 line auto backlit LCD display for Total Weight, Part Weigh and Parts Count. The display backlight is automatic and activates when an item is placed on the pan.

The tare facility allows a container to be placed on the platform. Press “Tare” and the displayed value will be zero. By then adding contents to the container the displayed value is the contents weight only.

Plus or minus weighing is ideal for quality control applications such as sample cross checks.

Simply place a sample product or a calibration weight on the platform. Press tare and the displayed value will be zero. Remove the sample or weight and then place another sample on to the pan. If there is a difference in weight, the displayed value will be the difference and will be a plus or minus value.

Parts Counting. This function makes easy work of stock takes.

If a container is to be used, this should be tared first.

Parts’ counting is from a freely selectable sample quantity. The higher the sample count, the better the accuracy of the count will be. If your sample count is say 55, the simply enter 55 via the key pad.

By then placing an unknown quantity of parts on the platform, the scale will calculate and display the total number of individual parts with the total weight and the individual part weight on the other displays.

Parts count alarm. Once the scale has been programmed with the weight of a part, an upper and lower quantity limit can be set. This is ideal when counting for a number of batches’s of the same quantity of parts.

An accumulation program can be used to display the total weight and total number of parts for a number of batch counts.
