Hand brayers can be expensive! They're used for a myriad of things, most popularly including relief printmaking and monotype printing. Why not try to make your own for cheap? To follow this tutorial, you will need:
-Ergonomic Foam Tubing
-Wooden Dowels
-Galvanized Steel Wire
-Electrical Tape
-Duct Tape
-X-Acto Knife
-Scissors
-Pliers
Let this video serve as a jumping-off point. How can you use what you have at home and create your own brayer? Maybe you can adapt a paint roller. Maybe you can figure out how to use a rolling pin! Have fun and be experimental!
