The choir sings "O God Beyond All Praising" during the Archdiocese of Agana's entrance procession of the Requiem Mass for the late Archbishop Emeritus Michael Jude Byrnes Saturday, June 7, 2025 in the Dulce Nombre de Maria Cathedral-Basilica in Hagatña, Guam.
Archbishop Ryan P. Jimenez was the presider joined by Bishop Romeo Convocar of the Diocese of Chalan Kanoa and 13 other priests and nine deacons.
Archbishop Emeritus Byrnes died peacefully on May 31 in the care of close friends and medical staff while resting in hospice care in Detroit. The former Arcbishop of Agana was contending with an illness for several years.
