Описание: This was the first time Orion played for CCM Selects and to our knowledge, the first time this particular group of kids played together. The team fought hard and played well, opening up with 3 straight wins and securing their spot in the semi-finals with a game-in-hand (which they lost to the Boston Hockey Club). In a grueling semi-final game, CCM Selects fell 3-0 to the Chicago Reapers - although there were 2 difficult moments. The Reapers scored a controversial opening goal with 0 seconds left on the clock at the end of the 2nd period - which the refs counted, changing the dynamic of the 3rd. On the other hand, it looked like CCM Selects got one back in the 3rd, which at the time would have made it a 2-1 game, but the refs lost sight of the puck. I show this moment at the end of this video. The Reaper team went on to play the Coyote team in the Championship (the Chicago Mission spring team). It was 2-2 after regulation and Coyote team netted the game winner in OT.
