I finally managed to convert my Sieg X2 Mini Mill to CNC over the past couple of months. I wanted a small mill to make parts for some of the other projects I am working on, and needed the ability to make create multiple exact copies of these parts.
Assembling the machine with individual parts rather than buying a pre-made CNC kit saved a lot of money, but came at the expense of time. This was mainly because I did not have access to proper metal working tools.
