New “Buy now, pay later” solutions have popped-up all over the internet in the last 2-3 years. Klarna, Splitit, Afterpay, Paypal Credit. These services allow you to pay for a item, interest free, for 3 months.
What do you think of these new payment options?
Personally, I am not going to judge anyone or tell you what you should do. I wouldn’t use these services for luxury items, but I probably would consider it for a large purchase such as furniture etc.
It lets you keep the money in your bank account for the longest amount of time. I also know that some of you use the service because you typically buy and return lots of things on a monthly basis (saves you having to wait for your refund to go back into your bank account).
But it only works if you’re responsible and pay it all back on time, before the zero percent runs out!
