"Ears on a stand" made Redneck

Описание: I decided to make my own version of "Ears on a stand" using whatever supplies I could find in my bedroom, which included; one cheap thrift store tripod, a cheap dolly-lookin' thing that came with a video light, two pairs of Purple (brand) mattress samples to help support the headphones, and a set of Optimus Pro-25 "Titanium" on-ear headphones. Not to mention my Zeniko OC-D1 stereo microphone which I used to capture the audio from the headphones.

Test track is the obligatory "walk in the park" used by ‪@DankPods‬ , with audio gain manually set to within -12Db from the clipping point. No EQ was applied here though a +1Db boost at 2 & 4Khz, and +2Db at 16Khz will open up the sound a bit and give the headphones some nice brilliance.

Sadly, the results could be better. The mics often picked up too much bass with most of the tracks I played, thus drowning out and leaving instruments and vocals rather veiled- almost as if if it was being heard underwater. This was the only track that sounded half-decent through the mics but is by no means a good representation of the audio fidelity of the headphones (they sound much better in-person).
