Chaos in the Styrian Alps. Welcome back to colonel console! Today, we are putting our RTX 5090 to the ultimate test with a heavy rain session at the Red Bull Ring. We’re following Sir Lewis Hamilton in the Ferrari SF-25 as he navigates one of the most treacherous tracks on the calendar in full-wet conditions.

Running on PC with Extreme 4K Settings, we’ve enabled the latest F1 25 "Wet-Surface" Path Tracing update. Watch as the standing water on the apex of Turn 3 reflects the scarlet red of the Ferrari, and the spray from the cars ahead creates a complete white-out on the 1.2km uphill straight. In F1 25, the LiDAR-scanned surface means that puddles form in the actual physical dips of the track, making hydroplaning a very real—and terrifying—possibility.
