In this documentary, we explore the hidden social crisis in parts of Philadelphia, where drug addiction, homelessness, healthcare inequality, and systemic neglect have reshaped entire neighborhoods. Popularly referred to online as a “Zombie City,” this term is used metaphorically to describe the visible human suffering caused by addiction and poverty—not to insult the city or its people.
This video does not generalize Philadelphia or America as a whole. Instead, it focuses on specific locations and real-life situations to raise awareness and spark meaningful discussion about social responsibility, governance, and humanity.
Millions of hardworking people live normal, dignified lives in Philadelphia. However, ignoring these issues only deepens the crisis. Awareness is the first step toward change.
