As you all know, we’re a family who loves to travel! We wanted to start the summer off with a fun trip out east and landed on @LakeCompounce in Connecticut! It’s an adventurous spot in New England with the largest water park and award winning rollercoasters! The coolest part is that they have a campground that’s family friendly right next to the park, which is where we stayed for the weekend.
If you want to make a getaway here for a weekend, the cabin has tons of accommodations such as parking for 2 cars, 2 full size beds, a twin bunk bed, full kitchen and bathroom, tv, a/c and heat. The campground itself has a playground, basketball and volleyball court, horshoe pit and gaga ball to play! Don’t worry, if you have teens! They have storm surge, which is their brand new water slide and boulder dash is their newest roller coaster. The kids loved it!
Have you ever seen a floating lake stage? They have one for summer performances in their summer concert series through Labor Day weekend on every Saturday! Making memories on vacations with my family is something that is incredibly important to me and we definitely made some amazing one’s at Lake Compounce!
