In today’s video we’ll be rewinding time with the cards , shedding a few extra Russian doll shells and setting off on discovering the little you’s and me who may have been playing a proverbial game of hide and seek for too long .

Here we hope to explore the decks that can maybe better help us connect to the inner child, either through play or simply creating a safe space to meet ourselves and chat, all in the hope of better understanding and healing those little people we all carry inside.

I do see inner child work as a facet of shadow work in part and it’s something I’ve been delving into a lot myself lately. It can be a daunting process for a lot of us I think so here I just wanted to give a few gentle suggestions of some decks and practices that i myself have found helpful on this healing journey. Each of our inner children will be different and so will their needs, so know that there is no wrong or right way of doing this- I also believe working with some sort of therapist/healer/supportive force can be incredibly helpful when embarking on such work, particularly if trauma is involved. There is no shame in calling upon that help if needed so here’s to us being gentle with ourselves and our little selves as we journey forward hand in hand.
