A few weeks ago I took my first trip down to the new(ish) trail network at Murray Valley near Dwellingup here in Western Australia. There has been a serious amount of quality work done there and there are some amazing trails and a lot more elevation than plenty of other trail centres in WA. This trail is the easy green run off the top of the hill from near the shuttle carpark and even though it is suitable for beginner riders it is still a lot of fun if you are more experienced too. There are a few opportunities to get a little air and plenty of big berms although it was pretty dry and a bit rutted and loose in some places. The descent is surprisingly long and I was more tired than I expected when I got to the bottom - all the climbing I had done earlier probably didn't help either! There is that much trail in the area that there was still a fair bit I didn't get to ride - I will definitely be heading down that way again soon. This place is well worth the trip down from Perth.
