Started my trading journey in Ramadan 2023 — a time when nights were long, hearts were soft, and dreams felt closest to reality. Alhamdulillah, what an experience it was — the late nights studying charts, the early mornings chasing setups, and the excitement of a young kid chasing the dream of becoming a profitable trader. Every candle, every backtest, every loss and win carried the hope that one day, I’d make it.

This footage is from June 2025 to the end of July — nearly two years later. I had finally started seeing real results, the kind I used to dream about. But around that same time, one experience made me stop and truly rethink everything.

The more I learned about funded and prop firm trading, the more I began to question its permissibility. I realized that success isn’t only about financial gain, but about barakah — the blessings and purity in what we earn.

“A man who, having journeyed far, is disheveled and dusty, raises his hands to the sky saying, ‘O Lord! O Lord!’ — but his food is haram, his drink is haram, his clothing is haram, and he has been nourished with haram; so how can his supplication be accepted?”
(Sahih Muslim 1015)

That hadith hit me deeply. It made me question not just how much I could make, but what kind of wealth I wanted to stand before Allah with.

I’m not a sheikh, not a scholar, and not even a student of knowledge — just someone trying to understand, to do better, and to make choices that bring me closer to Allah.

So this is my story — not of loss, but of rediscovering purpose. Trading taught me discipline and patience, but faith taught me contentment and peace. Sometimes, giving something up for Allah doesn’t mean failure — it means finding something far better in return.
