5/ Casting a cherry burl & resin hybrid bowl blank

Описание: Today we’ll make a bowl blank from a piece of cherry burl and Alumilite resin tinted with mica powder. I used a small roaster oven to heat the cherry blank up and make sure it was as dry as possible before putting it in the mold and adding the resin.
