How to Change the Honda automatic CVT Transmission Fluid for the 2014-2015 Honda Civic
This is a re-edited version of my first Youtube Video on this channel. I was new to youtube and made a few mistakes in my first video and I would like to upload an improved edit

Improvements are :
1.) Optimized by cutting out more repetitive parts to shorten the video to 3 minutes
2.) Added Voice over
3.) Now rendered in HD
4.) Added Diagrams from the owner's Manual
5.) Subtitles/closed captioning will be done via YouTube instead of text in the video so the video is cleaner.
6.) Added clips of me pulling the hood release and propping up the hood
Time: It took me about 1 hour
Part numbers :4 Quarts of Honda OEM HCF2: 08200-HCF2 (USA), or 08200-HCF2C (Canada).
Tools required:
Philips or flat head screw driver
17mm socket
If you need a 1/2 inch socket Rachet for the 17mm socket
3/8 male rachet
Jack/Jackstands/Ramps
Transmission Funnel
Drain pan
1.) Make sure the car is jacked up and level,I don't have a beam leveler so I used a tape measure to make sure the car is level on all 4 jack points
2.) Pull the hood release lever
3.) Lift up the hood and support it with the hood prop rod
4.) Remove the fill plug on top of the transmission, it's located next to the battery.
5.) Remove the metal cover plate with a philips or flat head screwdriver
6.) Remove the CVT cover plate with a philips or flathead screwdriver
7.) Remove the transmission drain bolt with a male 3 8 socket wrench
8.) Clean the magnetic drain bolt with a clean paper towel to remove the metal shavings
9.) Replace transmission drain bolt
10.) Remove the check bolt with a 17mm socket
11.) Insert the Funnel tube into the fill hole
12.) Fill the transmission with 3.6 quarts of Honda HCF2 fluid 08200-HFC2 or 08200-HFC2C
until the fluid comes out of the check hole
13.) Replace the Check hole bolt and tighten with a 17mm socket wrench
14.) Remove the funnel and replace the fill bolt
15.) Start the car, press the brake pedal firmly,
and shift through each of the gears 3 times
16.) Remove the check bolt again with a 17mm socket
17.) Top up with more Honda HCF2 Fluid until the fluid comes out of the check hole again.
18.) Replace check bolt
19.) Wipe any excess fluid off the transmission
20.) Replace the CVT cover plate
21.) Replace the metal cover plate
22.) Remove the funnel one last time and then reinstall the fill plug
