John Mayer Talks Splitting From Katy Perry!
Yes, I know... it's sad news because I think we were all really pulling for this one to work out, but nonetheless, John Mayer and Katy Perry have ended their relationship.
John was a guest on Ellen's daytime talk show, and he opened up about how tough it is togo through a break up. Watch.
John ended that little chat by simply saying he wants everyone to be happy. Aw.
Switching gears, Ellen and John got on the topic of health, and as most of you know, John has suffered some pretty bad throat issues in the past, that have prevented him from using his singing pipes.
John joked about his former love of Scotch only made his throat worse—he called it "...delicious, wonderful, poison, that makes you not care about how late you're out 'til or where you're going, but I had to really say, 'I like singing and writing more than I like delicious Scotch, so I had to really dial it down and I'm a little more boring."
Speaking of which, it sounds like John is enjoying life now as a part-time resident of the beautiful state of Montana!
He said he goes up north every other weekend when he can, and he hangs out by the Yellowstone River, drinks coffee, throws a ball with his dog, works out, goes on walks, and even washes his own dishes!
