@nougan_gamer Been playing SurrounDead for over a month now. With normal settings, even after I tuned down the loot drop rates a bit, I still think there are too much loots. This makes the game feels a bit too easy, unrealistic, & "cheapen" the survival aspect. With so much loot (& unlimited storage with backpack in backpack), I can regularly make a lot of money & buy just about anything the traders carry. There are so many weapons & ammo, I can always pick my favorite weapons out of a large selection of them, and ignore the rest. With a hoarder like me, I also ended up spending a lot of time playing inventory tetris (I can't help myself!) So I decided to try a "Scarcity Challenge Run" - turn down all loot drop rate to lowest "Insanely Rare", turn off "backpack in backpack", plus a few other small tweaks. I think this will transform the game and gives me a different kind of fun (& torture? Since my inner hoarder-self will scream for not being able to loot everything I come across? LOL!)
