I witnessed the Ishim River completely frozen, creating a calm and surreal winter landscape. Seeing a river frozen in daylight was an unforgettable experience.

I also enjoyed Indian food in Astana, which felt comforting in such cold weather and proved that the city is welcoming to travelers from everywhere.

While exploring Astana city, I experienced its clean roads, modern architecture, and peaceful winter vibes. At night, I visited the iconic Khan Shatyr Mall from outside. Despite the extreme cold outdoors, the city felt alive with lights and energy.

I also visited Astana’s most famous landmark, the Bayterek Tower, which represents the vision, growth, and future of Kazakhstan. From here, you truly understand why Astana is considered one of the most unique planned capitals in the world.
