Complex surfaces can take a lot of time and expertise. This video shows how to model a curvy part around an existing SOLIDWORKS file using subdivision modeling. The demo uses xShape, an app only found in the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. xShape allows the user to utilize push, pull, and pinch motions to manipulate a subdivision primitive shape. The resulting model is a water-tight solid. The video walks through the proper workflow to avoid errors down the road.
