Описание: Artists Addam Yekutieli, a.k.a. Know Hope, creates street art, mixed media installations, and community-based projects. He has developed a visual iconography and language to mirror real-life situations and observations of a collective human struggle. Yekutieli's artworks occur both indoors and outdoors, in the form of site-specific installations, murals, and assemblages, combining ready-made materials, mixed media pieces, photographs, and text. All of which attempt to re-imagine the more significant social and political situations.

In recent years, Yekutieli has begun a process of ongoing projects with participants worldwide to highlight the nexus between the personal and the collective, the political and the personal.

Establishing a path that leads the viewers from the public sphere and into the personal (if not the private) experiences of participants, these works allow for an intuitive and empathetic recognition of each other while musing on issues such as the complexities of cross-cultural encounters, borders, and trauma.

Street art is visual art created in public locations for public visibility. It has been associated with the terms "independent art," "post-graffiti," "neo-graffiti," and guerrilla art.
Street art has evolved from the early forms of defiant graffiti into a more commercial form of art, as one of the main differences now lies with the messaging. Street art is often meant to provoke thought rather than rejection among the general audience by making its purpose more evident than graffiti. The issue of permission has also come at the heart of street art, as graffiti is usually done illegally. In contrast, street art can nowadays be the product of an agreement or even sometimes a commission. However, it remains different from traditional art exposed in public spaces by its explicit use of said space in the conception phase. (Wikipedia)
