Vibe Coding With The New Codex macOS App

Описание: In this video, I am vibe coding with the newly released Codex macOS Application. Is this just a pretty wrapper for the CLI, or is it a legitimate upgrade for agentic workflows?

I put the app through its paces on the BridgeMind codebase. We test the new UI for findings, attempt to use the Voice Dictation (comparing it to BridgeVoice/Wispr), and dive deep into the most promising feature: Automations. I show you how to set up a recurring security scan for your API using Codex Automations—a feature not natively available in the CLI.

However, it’s not all perfect. I break down the limitations of the terminal, the issues with Skills (specifically Image Gen and API keys), and give my honest verdict on whether you should switch from the CLI.
