Elden Ring Nightreign - Solo Everdark Gnoster No Damage Taken No Hit / Nightreign Enhanced Gnoster Boss Fight No Damage / Nightreign No Damage Enhanced Sentient Pest. Just a video showing a solo of the Everdark Sovereign version of Gnoster being done with no damage taken in Elden Ring Nightreign on PC, 4k 60FPS Max Settings on RTX 4090. Details below.
This was once again done using the "Free Reign" mod for Nightreign, which allows you to start a boss fight right from roundtable hold. This obviously makes it much easier to deal with, as you don't need to do the 40 minute expedition for an attempt each time. There are some downsides to it, like not being able to get all the bonus buffs and perks from the expedition, and you cannot upgrade weapons from their default state. So you'll always be weaker than you normally would be with a full expedition. The stamina regen is also a little weird with sprinting for some reason, so I tried to avoid sprinting as much as I could (at least to the extent it wouldn't be different to normal play). The obvious upside being that you can fight the bosses without delay, and you can pick any weapon you want to suit the boss, which outweights any downsides.
So as I said before, it may not be considered "legit" to some as it doesn't have the entire 40 minute expedition before it, but honestly it's just not worth the time needing to do so much to have a single attempt at each boss for no damage. I've seen a lot of other people going for no damage use various mods to do so (the one that speeds up exploration and the nights x100), so I feel like this is fair game too. If you feel differently, that's more than fine, but I'm not willing to waste that much time for boss attempts. Regardless, I really hope Fromsoft consider adding their own boss re-fight option.
As for the fight itself, this is probably up there as one of the least enjoyable fights for melee and no damage in all soulslikes. The lingering poison clouds are so oppressive for the entire phase 2, that it ruins most of the fight. It can decide to do the attack mid animation, so you spend a lot of time just working around that. The tracking bolts can also phase through the boss when you stagger it, so it's just annoying all around.
Either way, the safest and most consistent way would be to just kite the boss for the entire fight and wait for the new boss to deal the super attack. There's always a safe window after that, so you could just do multiple of those until you get the defeat. I wanted to show a mix of the phases, which makes it a lot slower and less consistent, but you get to see more of the fight I guess.
