Are we finally to the point where we can recreate STAR WARS fighter duels with Radio Control drones? Almost... In this video we unbox and do a first test of the Air Hogs Tie Fighter and X-Wing drones. We previously tested the X-Wing in combination with Death Star set which is great if you are going to be flying by yourself. But if there are two of you then having a drone for each of you is the way to go.

We're not quite ready for a full review but so far I will say the X-Wing is FAR easier to fly. As you'll see the Tie Fighter takes some getting used to. You do have to line up your shots a lot more than I expected, which I think is a good thing. It makes it much more satisfying when you do shoot someone out of the air. These are obviously in the toy class of drones though. A serious drone flyer is not going to be impressed. But they are still a lot of fun and very surprisingly durable.
