In this episode we present an advanced SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) capability that the United States NSA (National Security Agency) had, at least, since 2007. GOPHERSET was the codename of a top secret software implant (backdoor) targeting SIM cards. It was publicly revealed as part of the leaked NSA ANT (Advanced Network Technology) catalogue. ANT was a branch until NSA's targeted hacking organisation, known as the TAO (Tailored Access Operations) office.
