Speaking on the occasion, DEO Farrukh Owais expressed satisfaction that patients are being provided free treatment with modern facilities at the Free Kidney Dialysis Center Mirpur, which is the result of the commendable services of Anjuman Falah-o-Behbud-e-Insaniyat Mirpur. On this occasion, he also had a special meeting with the President Anjuman Falah-o-Behbud-e-Insaniyat Dr. Tahir Mahmood and DMS Divisional Headquarters Teaching Hospital Mirpur Dr. Maria Zulfiqar. During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on welfare activities, awareness about kidney diseases among the public, and promotion of health-related campaigns in educational institutions. District Education Officer Farrukh Owais said that he is deeply concerned about the increasing trend of kidney diseases among the public and assures full support from the Education Department in the awareness campaign of Anjuman Falah-o-Behbud-e-Insaniyat Mirpur. He said that all educational institutions of Mirpur district will provide all possible support in such positive campaigns so that students and parents can get timely awareness. Women Wing In-charge Ayesha Malik, Hafsa Bari, Farzana Raja, Admin Officers Jahangir Mughal and Munir Abdul Majid, Ward Master Muhammad Ishaq Gorsi and renowned journalist Asif Iqbal were also present on the occasion of the visit.
