In this video, we introduce a new series idea called "Fresh Faces of Legacy" where we explore new decks that excite us. We take a look at the Red Black Cauldron Combo deck, which replaces the traditional Red Painter shell with a combo in Agatha's Soul Cauldron/Phyrexian Devourer.
We explain the various uses of Soul Cauldron outside of the combo and the powerful tutor and threat it becomes for the deck. We also discuss the aggressive plan of the deck that often means opponents have to use resources that they cannot deny the combo anymore.
