Demo of the unique Lexicon Vortex 'audio morphing processor’ using my old Juno-6 as the input. The Vortex interpolates between different algorithms, producing completely different effects during the transition from one preset to another. This can create subtle shimmering stereo effects, or a maelstrom of insane, swirling modulation.
The factory presets aren’t that exciting, but these are my original user patches from the 90’s. I’m surprised it’s survived that long, after many house moves and being in storage for a few years, I wanted to make a video with it before it finally blows up!
You can hear it malfunction at the end, where the input overloads and it starts making sounds without any signal. It's a bit knackered but still totally unique!
