Описание: In this video we capture KiwiRail freight and passenger trains along the stunning Midland Railway Line from Christchurch to Greymouth in New Zealand's Spectacular Southern Alps. We capture passenger trains showing tourists some of New Zealand's greatest scenery such as the Tranz Alpine. We also follow the West Coast coal trains working hard on the steep mountain grades such as the 1 in 50 climb from Jacksons to Otira, the 1 in 33 grade through the Otira tunnel to Arthur's Pass which requires an extra 5 diesel locomotives to assist the 2 train locos and the 1 in 65 Cass Bank. Enjoy the sight and sound the General Electric DX locomotives working hard on the mountain section of the Midland Line under the massive mountain barrier of the Southern Alps, enjoy!
