In the past couple of visits during 2 halves of the day in separate of them post Halloween but one with Regular atmosphere & another with Merry Farm with lighting, after an almost year long Hiatus with being saved by the MVP Six Flags Pass Deal which is honestly a CRAZY BUFF to not only come to Knott's & Magic Mountain in the same pass without spending yet another additional over $100, Also to visit even more Parks in the Merged Mega Chain (Legacy Six Flags & Cedar Fair Parks combined). In a few clips I've uploaded today, a few Xcelerator On-Ride footages which are a Daytime front row Horizon-Locked POV which banks every single turn, as well as a Pair of Night Ride POVs in Hyperview Hypersmooth 5.0 in both trains which one of them has a railfanning capture when you hear a whistle from the Steam Locomotive near it. Potentially as I did the Supreme scream Night POV, these 2 could be used for either 2025 or 2026 edition of Night Xcelerator no matter the event. Until Further Notice, enjoy your Early Access of a few Xcelerator Ridethroughs & any reason you'd like to use copyright free stuff, an era of being an MVP Six Flags 2026 Passholder.
Xcelerator is a steel launched roller coaster located at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California, United States. Manufactured by Intamin and designed by Werner Stengel, it opened in 2002 as the company's first hydraulically-launched coaster and cost $13 million to construct. Following the early demise of Windjammer Surf Racers, a dueling roller coaster that briefly operated from 1997 to 2000, Xcelerator was soon announced as its replacement. It launches to a maximum speed of 82 mph (132 km/h) in 2.3 seconds and reaches a height of 205 feet (62 m), and has a short twister section that leads into the brake run.

History
Following the demise of the short-lived Windjammer Surf Racers, a dueling roller coaster plagued with issues surrounding its design and operation, Knott's Berry Farm announced its replacement in December 2001. The park hired Intamin to build and design a new roller coaster called Xcelerator, the company's first hydraulically-launched roller coaster, which uses pressurized oil and a series of hydraulic fluid chambers to rapidly propel a coaster train along a straight section of track. The total cost was $13 million. Intamin pioneered the hydraulic technology used on Xcelerator, which would later be built on a larger scale on future record-breaking rides, including Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point and Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure. The ride was originally scheduled to open in May 2002, but the opening was delayed to June 22, 2002.
n May 2004, California investigators asked that Knott's Berry Farm temporarily close Xcelerator, and that sister park Six Flags Magic Mountain close Superman: The Escape, because the T-bar restraint systems used by both rides were potentially defective. This was due to...

Xcelerator The Ride®
Rocket 0-82 mph in 2.3 seconds as you fly 205 feet into the air before immediately hurtling 90 degrees straight down on Xcelerator The Ride® roller coaster at Knott's Berry Farm. Slick back your hair and grab your leather jacket; happy days are here again! This high-octane coaster fires up its engines on the Boardwalk with chrome-plated, flame-emblazoned '57 Chevrolets.
From the minute you enter the station, you're transported back to the time of greasers, beatniks, and cubes. Step up to the platform and fasten yourself into one of the yellow and orange flame-emblazoned, candy-apple red or purple fin-tailed hot rods. You are now in the passenger seat and the driver is racing for pink slips. Hold on tight and make sure your knuckles are white because this baby burns rubber across 2,202 feet of cool coral track.
