Johann Bohack was a Fortepiano maker in Vienna. His instruments were well liked: Joseph Haydn owned a clavichord by Bohack and Beethoven later recommended his instruments. It is extremely difficult to find original instruments from the lifetime of composers such as Haydn and Mozart and this is a stunning example.
